The All-India Muhammadan Educational Conference (AIME) in 1906, held at the Ahsan Manzilpalace
of the Dhaka Nawab Family, laid
the foundation of the Muslim League.

It was formally proposed by Nawab Salimullah Khan in
a meeting attended by three thousand delegates.

The
name "All-India Muslim League" was proposed by Sir Agha Khan III, who
was appointed its first president.

First session – Dhaka
·
Second session – Karachi
·
Nawab
of Dhaka Salimullah Khan participated in Bengal-Partition Supporting Movement
with the appreciation of Lord Curzon.
·
In 1906 the Muslims
Committee met with Morley-Minto at Shimla and request him to Separate Electorate of
Muslims.

AHRAR
MOVEMENT - Founded in 1910 under the leadership
of Maulana Muhammad Aliu ,hussain imam, mazar-ul-haq ,Hakim ajmal khan and Jafar
ali khan for active participation of the muslims in the national movement.
